Meanwhile they somehow never can figure out that when.i.type.this. Into the search bar I want the phrase without the periods and am not in fact typing out a website url. Or when I keep typing a phrase with an obviously misspelled word that im not just being cute, I didn’t notice and please go back and fix it because I obviously had no intention of typing that. But then when I do intentionally type a word “wrong” they try to fix it 10+ times. Literally.

And that’s not even counting the autocorrect and spellcheck, I’ve literally had to search Merriam Webster for so many words just to make sure that I wasn’t mistaken and that that word did in fact exist and wasn’t misspelled at all. What do?

On a positive note, this prompted me to discover that Apple has brought back the etymology function in IOS (even if it’s in an extremely convoluted manner) and I’m a very happy camper. I like me some etymology.
