The Intersection of Gnosis and Kink (Soror 64)

Interesting... I hope he suffers greatly at the hands of his daimon. I think he needs a fuck. Can we help him? :)

After reading further, I noticed he mentioned flagellation as a method of achieving gnosis.

There are a couple of rituals in the witch circles. Where the new one gets whipped by everyone and is put through an ordeal. There are various names for this. Nature gods and so on. It's a while ago, but I could look it up. I remember it very well... not.

There are all sorts of avenues you can utilize kink in a ritualistic setting

The point of doing so would be to get someone to a state of consciousness where she or he transforms anger. To "whip out" "the beast", and let the "loved" adept in "our" middle reflect / "mirror" the deep dark of his or her true nature. It's sometimes used to reveal the animal nature. The archetype... you know. - Useful for those, who spend much time with high magic, and find themselves disconnected. Useful for those who have others, who share that path, and that love which is in the dark. But this is not a fitting topic for reddit. As you will realize by the comments.

Exploring kink can be a great way to get in touch with the divine

The word "kink" is misplaced, because the exploration comes second in ceremonial sexual magic. It's not about this joy of pain and sex. These ecstasies of "sub mode" are a deception. Me and my SO like that as well, but that is not magic. It's fun.

You have to be very clear about your intentions in magic. Just swinging the whip, and ass fucking someone doesn't make a great sexual ritual. Let alone does it reflect any aspect of high magic practice.

While I aim to create dramatic rituals focused around aspects of kink culture, BDSM sessions in themselves (scenes) are often already ritualized without intention.

My 2 cents: they are ritualized will full intention and understanding of roles. There is a Dom, there is a Sub, maybe a co/top... and there is a setting which is fully agreed upon. It's completely consensual and planed. There is lots of communication about it. For safety.

Ceremonial sexual magic is also fully planed. But in my experience the intimacy is very different. Sexual pleasure comes second, if it's granted at all. It's quite common not to let the adept get it. For a couple of reasons, which you understand if you do that.

It was essentially a Daleth ritual, with the Dominant representing Chokmah and the submissive representing Binah.

I just play the hymn to Pan. Easier ritual.
