US Intervention, Before and After

What rhetoric? So I changed my stance slightly to acknowledge new information and you're taking issue with that? Isn't that exactly what someone is supposed to do? I mean I can stubbornly refuse to acknowledge everything you say if that makes this easier for you. You can also feel free to keep downvoting each one of my comments if that helps; I really doubt anyone else is even reading this and it doesn't hurt my feelings.

Let's make one thing clear right now: the US did not invade Syria and engage the Assad regime. We have conducted bombing campaigns against ISIL targets and so has Russia, which is actually more beneficial to Assad than us just sitting out as Assad is fighting them as well as the more "moderate" groups of rebels.

"American exceptionalism", right because we're absolutely the only country who plots against foreign governments, instead of, you know, all of them. Face it, the US government is in no way unique in that regard. Secondly, we are not alone in our campaign in Syria as it includes over half a dozen different nations. I'm not sure why you're shifting the conversation to Obama's cabinet since that's not at all what we're talking about.

Long story short; the US isn't the world's satan, communism is a failure and you shouldn't be arguing online when I'm sure you have home work to do.
