Iran unveils new underground missile depot which the United States says can take a nuclear warhead and violate a 2010 U.N. Security Council resolution.

The so called, at least in this story, "break through" agreement with Iran is a farce and one the US will long regret. Supposedly this new phase of "normalizing" relations with Iran will deter Iranian ambitions to acquire a nuclear arsenal. But the "Revolutionary Guards" control this new missile arsenal, with it's ability to carry nuclear weapons, and the Guards are in fact an entirely separate matter in terms of compliance with any nuclear weapons controlling agreement. The Guards have their own separate agendas apart from any stated political stance taken by the elected government under the leadership of Rouhani. If you recall, the Guards are the ones who built a "mock up" of an American Aircraft Carrier in the Straits of Hormuz and then proceeded to destroy it with a fleet of missile mounted patrol boats, a glaring example of the Guards long standing Anti-American sentiments. The Guards are the organization which continuously provides small arms, explosives, and ever longer ranged missiles to Hamas and Hezbollah, insuring decades ahead of back and forth terroristic activity with Israel. Iran itself officially sent "Military Advisors" to both Hamas and Hezbollah last year, advisors still detailed to each terror group, who are assisting Hamas and Hezbollah in coordinating missile assaults on Israel and other terrorism acts. Iran proclaimed this sending of the advisors as a new era of "cooperation" between Iran and the two terrorist groups. A number of experts on Iranian nuclear weapons ambitions have strong suspicions that the Guards have their own well cloaked nuclear weapons program underway and Guards control of this new Iranian Emad missile arsenal underlines that possibility. Of course the Iranian Mullahs hold weekly "Death to America" rallies attended by thousands, keeping popular Anti-American sentiments alive among ordinary Iranian citizens. In effect there are three power centers at work in Iran, the elected government under Rouhani; the Mullahs, and the vociferously Anti-American Revolutionary Guards. But as this above story reveals, the Guards and the elected government are moving in tandem with these new Emad missiles. In support of this observation, notice that Rouhani has ordered the Emad missile program to be "expanded", the very missile arsenal controlled by the Revolutionary Guards. And the Mullahs, for their part are calling for, in their own words, "Divine Vengeance" against the Saudis, who are fighting proxy wars with Iran in Syria and Yemen. Amazingly, Obama's State Dept. is declaring that peace in Syria will be achieved shortly, this in spite of the spiraling escalation of the Iranian and Saudi conflicting agendas. And then there's the Iranian violation of the UN resolution against their development of these longer ranged and more accurate Emad missiles by Iran. So connect the dots in all this, where is the expectation of overall compliance by Iran proving that no entity in Iran will be working towards creating a nuclear weapons arsenal. Iran is a long time trading partner with N. Korea, the North having played the game of receiving massive subsidies from the US to curtail its nuclear weapons program, and we know how that ended up. N. Korea has nuclear weapons engineers and missile technicians who have been working with Iranian counterparts in various weapons creations efforts. Nope, this whole picture, especially amplified by the current Saudi-Iranian hostilities, says that Obama's efforts at normalizing relations with Iran, ending their nuclear weapons program, and bringing peace to the entire Middle East is a shambles of failure that's going to quickly become worse. Sure it plays well in the upcoming presidential election cycle, all this "peace is ahead" posturing, but Mr. Obama, political posturing to gain political favor is a long way from your detailed sworn duty to defend our nation's security.
