Why isn't "Christian Extremist" used as casually as "Islamic Extremist" is?

I kind of see it the other way around. To me, it’s not that people feel more free to use the term “Islamic Extremist”, it’s that they’re adding “extremist” as a qualifier as if to say “I don’t think they’re all bad, just the extreme ones”. As a non-PC, non-SJW liberal I’ve always felt there’s been a double standard among most liberals where they want to sweep things under the rug for minority religions, while being perfectly fine criticizing Christianity. Personally, I think they’re ALL a steaming pile of horseshit worthy of ridicule, but I’m not afraid to recognize the very disproportionate injustices perpetrated by modern day Islam compared to modern day Christianity.
