Well I don't think anyone with half a brain links conservatives and liberals with Republicans and Democrats permanently, the sides have switched many times in the past. So I wasn't implying anything to do with slavery, weird that you took it that way.

I just thought the whole idea of "I have a black friend" as a defense seems to be the common liberal saying right now. Both conservatives and liberals can be racists, heck I would agree that conservatives are even more likely racist. But Liberals get weird passes, like when Harry Reid complemented Obama because he had no Black features was "light-skinned" with no "negro-dialect" it is given a pass because he has lots of black friends. But when a trump supporter thinks illegal immigration is bad, even if they are minorities themselves, then they are racists.

But it really has to be that way, if liberals can't paint conservatives as just hating everyone who doesn't subscribe to their brand of God then what does their message bring? The cities I have lived in with Liberal leaders for 40 years like Baltimore aren't bastions of equality and freedom.
