Just because pros do it it doesn't mean you should

Personally I would say that when you say they "should" be doing something a certain way you may not be speaking from experience.

I don't think that you have to choose between speed and safety. Speed is also safety, as you don't want to stay in the wall forever. Safety is usually faster too, as a clean set up is easier to understand, easier to set, and easier to clean.

Anyway, I'm not saying in which way they "should" do anything in the wall, Nico is among the greatest on trad, and we all know about Adam's skills so... Obviously they may have their reasons to do that kind of set up.

What say I plain clear in the tittle of this post is that people shouldn't copy it.
