Just finished this 24x24 handcut MDF wall art piece.

Medium-density fibreboard (MDF) is an engineered WOOD PRODUCT made by BREAKING DOWN hardwood or softwood RESIDUALS into wood fibres, often in a defibrator, combining it with wax and a resin binder, g high heat and pressure.[1] MDF is generally denser than plywood. It is made up of separated fibres but can be used as a BUILDUNG MATERIAL similar in application to PLYWOOD It is stronger and denser than PARTICLE BOARD.

When wood rots it turns to compost. Compost was wood. Paper was wood Cardboard was wood Osb was wood Fiber board was wood

I trust you agree gardening, topiaries, origami, egg crates, shipping boxes, and dimensional lumber construction should not be called woodworking just because at some point they involve wood or wood fibers.
