I forgive this guy because I know some parents make it a harder than it needs to be and hence they become bitter and spread the halve truths at best. I'm a witness had friends in and out of the religion work for people not of the religion who I consider friends. Witnesses I know have so many friends who aren't witnesses because they are trusted and help the community. I have friends who don't want the religion anymore but they aren't bitter and resentful and still have mad respect for us one works for me and is still considered as close as a brother. then there's ones who are angry bitter and resentful then make it everyone else's fault and it's very cringe but I do feel for them still but making us look bad it's sad. But trust me this guy must have been brought up wrong the Bible says "don't go beyond what is written" which a lot of what he says is extreme that I would say his family enforced. My family always guided me with the Bible but never forced the issue and that's how it is in most cases and how God teaches it to be
