I hated everything about the Trio, seemed like a direct f-you to certain fan groups of the show. Kind of like buying the hand that feeds you.

I don’t find them interesting characters, they aren’t well written, the progressive allegory doesn’t really land, and I feel like I’m basically watching them bully parts of their fan group.

I hated how the show refused to humanise them and basically did everything to make them as pathetic and unlikable as possibly.

Same issue I had with Dawn, they succeeded a bit too well in making these characters unlikable to the point that on rewatches I have to skip pretty much everything to do with either of them or I start to get a migraine.
