So your version of a catch is Spike? That evil serial killer/rapist? Riley was the best boyfriend. A handsome decent, thoughtful guy who doesn't hesitate to protect you (5x07) will always be a great catch. Boring? Ha! a military hero can never be boring. Just because you prefer to watch Buffy get mistreated doesn't mean that everybody else does. I don't see what so attractive about a underwear sniffing pervert like Spike. Not everyone is into bad boys. I never was, even as a teen. I'm in my 20s now and I'm more disgusted with Spike than ever before. Dawn should have lit him on fire like she said she would. SMG made it obvious that she wasn't a Spuffy fan either. SMG hated season 6 because it was gross and degrading. She made it clear that Buffy being with spike was out of character.
