We know the earth is not capable with dealing with rapid (even if relatively small) changes in CO2 emmissions from the CO2 record. CO2 concentrations in the atmosphere have doubled since the start of the industrial age, there's no arguing that. We know by measuring CO2 concentrations from air bubbles in radiocarbon-dated ice cores that they're higher than they've been in at least 400,000 years. There's no arguing that.
Extremely throughly peer reviewed (seriously, there's a whole branch of climatological science devoted to this) climate models, tested through hindcasting past climates...

I'm not an expert, I don't have a PhD in climatology, I can't get into the tiny mathematical minutia of each aspect of these climate models, but they've been throughly validated through hindcasting and peer-review.

These next two paragraphs are more important than anything I've previously said.
Here's the thing, I'm not a "climate change worrier" these days because I've looked at this and I've decided that the science is correct. Like I said, I'm not an expert, I can't do that, but nor can 99.99% of the people in this planet, including, I'm betting, anyone on this forum. Because they aren't professional climatologists.
This is what freaks me out. The experts, the peer-reviewed climatologists who who review and study this science for a living, 40 hours a week, every week, for years, are almost universally freaking out. 97% of peer reviewed climatologists believe man-made climate change is real and serious. Please consider this.
