@Justin_Fenton "Confirming @FOXBaltimore report that arrest has been made in downtown squeegee killing from last week. Suspect is 15 years old"

Just out of interest, do you see any value in paid community restorative type work?

We've got tons of parks that need matinence, invasive plants which need to be cleared, debris that needs to be removed, infrastructure that needs repaired, etc within almost all neighborhoods of the city. These all require human labor and I believe have a higher attatched sense of dignity than hotel/fast food work. In a sense it also promotes the idea of stewardship over the city.

They mostly can be done at any schedule and skill that squeegee work could be done - for example a pay per plot trash cleanup effort in a public park or at a river or per pound compensation on weed removal. Somewhat akin to the civilian conservation core of the new deal.

Just spitballing but wanted to ask your opinion as you have the background.
