KD is averaging 31.7 ppg 10.7 rpg and 7apg in the finals

I'm not sure if this is some new meme I must have missed but let me try to summarize Curry's legacy within several sentences.

One of the very few players in NBA history with more than 1MVP, and the first to receive one of them in unanimous manner. 3 rings. Lead a team to the best regular-season record in NBA history. By far the greatest shooter the league has ever seen. Revolutionized the game and how it's played, not only in the NBA, but around the world. On top of that, he's probably the only one a lot of people seriously considered to have overtaken LeBron as the best player in the world amidst the latter's run as such.

All of that at 6'3 and with quite injury-prone ankles.

I wouldn't worry about Curry's legacy if I was you, mate. He could stop after Sunday's game and still be one of the greatest and most impactful players in NBA history.
