Korean-American involved in a Christian community

There most definitely isn’t always this miraculous feeling after coming out, especially if a family member(s) is homophobic. I’m first generation Korean-American as well but surprisingly my parents have more liberal views but far from being “Americanized” so when I came out they took it pretty well. In fact, they said they just wanted me to live a good life and have a good education. They could give less of a squad diddly on what gender I like. But anyways, I think playing it safe and waiting till you’re financially stable is the best move in your case. Heck, coming out is so overrated these days. If you’re gay, people will find out eventually.
