The Last Door (2017) (Trailer) - Detailed descriptions about the physical and emotional child abuse that occurred at the Elan School in Maine, and how the abuses were (and still are) legal in the US.

It's been about 20 years and after reading that my hearts pounding. God damn.

I still sometimes freak out if I'm awoken by noise, thinking them dudes are gonna force me out of bed. "We can do it two ways kid, you get up and walk out with us RIGHT NOW or the both of us grab, restrain, and drag you out" I had been told if I didn't stop getting in trouble my parent would send me away. So the asshole kid I was, I looked into the legalities of these places and knew without my parents consent these two lumberjack looking fucks wont touch me. So I told them that and said show me proof you have consent and they had the fucking contract ready for me to see and sure as shit it was signed by both my parents. I asked if I could have a smoke before we left and they said I could smoke in the van.

I fucking hated their dichotomy system. I had the same interaction of being new there and trying to talk to some other kid and being yelled at. Or that your big brother had to follow you everywhere. Even when you shit. Of your bb doesn't feel like sitting outside the stall, tough luck. If you try to ask someone higher ranking then you, you get yelled at for going out of rank?(ie I tell someone higher then me who then tells the next person)

TLDR: Thanks, hadn't seen that before.
