Republicans keep promising their voters cultural victories and failing to deliver. Even though they control all three branches of the government:

Obamacare is still here Birth control is available Abortion is legal Planned Parenthood gets government funding Stem cell research is being done Same-sex marriage is legal Gay and trans servicemembers serve in the military Pornography is widely available Evolution and sex education are taught in public schools Prayer is banned from public schools More and more states are decriminalizing marijuana NPR still gets government funding The NEA gets government funding English is not an official language Flag burning is legal

On the other hand, we are the only Western country with the death penalty and an epidemic of mass shootings, and the only Western country without affordable college education or healthcare, so I guess we can call those conservative victories.
