Lawyers of Reddit, what was the best 'gotcha moment' you ever experienced?

I got pulled over the other day and I wasn't speeding so my butt was puckered so tight about what was about to happen (it's worse when you don't know!) The (local town) cop let me know my headlight was out, and let me go with no ticket. Bless him, it was working the day before and I had no idea! I think he heard me talking about it to my dog because when he came back from his car he was laughing. Really nice guy, I was so relieved lol. I think he was the same guy that responded to my call a few weeks before about being threatened and harassed by a neighbor, so I think he remembered me too. I replaced the headlight the next day :) I haven't been pulled over for years, and thought maybe I was speeding and just didn't realize (but when I looked down as his lights came on I was going 25), the last time I was pulled over 5 years ago it was for the same thing but on the highway at 3am (again didn'tsee it was out!). He asked me where I was going so late at night, and I sheepishly told the truth... a bootycall, lol, which made him laugh too. Didn't get a ticket then either, noice!
