Learning the language of a country should be a requirement for immigration.

For a lot of people who want to come to the US, because I believe that’s where you’re from, they don’t have the opportunity to do so. For a lot of people it’s not as easy as downloading duolingo man. Many people seek out the US because of what they perceive as the American dream, they want to get out of their country as soon as possible to make a better life for their children and for themselves. They are poor and don’t have access to the same resources we do in the US. For example, my friends emigrated from Chile to the United States with her son as a single mother, she spoke little English and over time has become pretty good. So do you think that because she couldn’t speak English fluently before she immigrated that she shouldn’t have been allowed in? I believe your opinion lacks perspective, however you are entitled to it
