I agree. I would say that hooking up is easier for women on dating apps, but actual dating is just as hard for women as it is guys.

I'm down 42lbs, but am still really big so I thought I'd have zero luck on dating apps. However, guys aren't that picky about who they hookup with. It's been fun since I got divorced last year and am in a place where casual is still enjoyable, but of all the guys I've met there have only been 3 that I would have considered seriously dating, and of those 3 only 1 that I developed real feelings for, and that 1 ghosted me before I had a chance to tell him I liked him as more than a fwb, so he could get back with his ex.
