Living needs to be affordable again

That's exactly what they intend. I can't find the original video but check out this clip from Bill Burr's podcast where they talk about LA's infamous '$500 million dollar mansion'.

These assholes built an enormous 'mega mansion' with all kinds of spaciousness and luxury, a full theater with candy room, a pool that overlooks another pool, cavernous garage, a mile long track that goes around the perimeter of the property and guest house that's larger than most mansions with another pool. It's so large that you can easily get lost in the place.

The staff get to "comfortably" live 4 to a small boring rooms next to all the utility rooms and laundry room on the lower level. We don't deserve to have our own space in their world.

Burr's wife puts it well "so that's a metaphor that in order to live like that, other people have to be stacked up like fucking logs." That's where our society is going as a whole at this point.
