Loretta Smith and Dan Ryan face off August 11 in special election for Portland City Council seat

I support the protests, Eudaly has been in office for the better part of 4 years - so yeah she is the status quo, a vote for her is a vote for what we have right now, literally what status quo means. Chloe has been right next to wheeler and fritz voting in sweetheart deals for thier Corprate developer buddies, she passed a rent control measure that basically ensured a rent hike for everyone - and she has wasted taxpayer money on a social media team at 900k and millions in renaming a bureau - with no change in it's duties while the number of housless people has increased 24% during her time in office, her voting record is right there - please look past her tweets and temper tantrums you will see she isn't a good leader in any fashion - also, on 2 occasions now Eudaly has voted to ratify the PPA contract - she could have voted no and forced the union to the table but alas she didn't. When it comes to hard decision making, I assume she sends out a whiny tweet, eats a few more sandwiches and votes with everyone else - status quo -

Trusted and respected are universal qualities Mapps has, I also think 15,000 Isn't enough to corrupt him, he accepted the endorsement before this movement kicked off in Portland, and I think being able to have a dialogue with the people we are trying to change is important. The PPA already got Chloe to vote for thier contract twice, which BTW I have read cover to cover, and encourage you to as well - Mapps will get get smart concessions from them and real change.

So he is the change agent - how can you consider the sitting person who voted IN favor of the current PPA contract the change agent - yes I believe what I am typing, and I think you do as well.
