Losing weight and dealing with munchies - here's how to lose weight without giving up on some of life's perks.

I gave up smoking because I think it played a big role in my weight gain. Happily ready to go back to it in about a month. It's been about five months. I'm super, super excited because it really takes me out of the hustle and bustle mentality. Feel like I've been stuck in a situation of inaction.

I kind of tested it a few times through succesful deficit, and the high was way more different when I didn't eat that much. In a really good way. You know that feeling when you're full or eat satisfying food? Maybe you stare blankly while you enjoy it, or watch something; just generally shut off your brain a bit and enjoy. With a deficit, and sticking with a somewhat mundane, healthy diet for the day, it's a wonderful emptiness where the mind is on full alert.

This is only if you smoke more regularly (which you do). Test it out. Do some fun and creative stuff during a day where you eat well at a deficit, and then try it after you decide to eat the munchie food. It was hard for me to maintain it, but I'm going to try to do it once I lose this last 10 pounds. I just feel like giving into the munchies almost lowers my IQ because of the dopamine release and the satisfaction. My mind let's go.
