Is making fun of Donald Trump in a tuxedo sexist or not?

I guess I'm confused.

There is also valid annoyance at the constant focus on the fashion choices and appearance of female politicians, when there is no such focus or criticism for men.

Should there be criticism?

So I guess I'm just not that mad that people make fun of Trump's inability to wear clothes that fit in any way. It's actually amazing. You'd think if you were that rich and that egotistical you'd at least pay a tailor, yeah?

A consistent position would be "don't criticize anyone for clothing choices" or "it's okay as long as you do it to women AND men."

A position like "It's sexists if it happens to women, but because it doesn't normally happen to men it's tolerable when it does happen" creates some dissonance.

I very much dislike Trump, myself. And it brings me sense of joy that such trivial criticisms are blows to his narcissistic personality. But at the same time it seems terribly petty. I would respond negatively if someone was intently focused on a female's evening wear. And I can count the number of Americans I know on one hand who MIGHT actually know the rules to men's white tie fashion.

Now that I think about it,I guess I want to allow all the negativity but fundamentally disagree with it on principle.
