Is this view I have misogynistic?

Honestly it might be that these girls need to learn to defuse situations on their own (and definitely get that bouncer too asap next time), if your involvement just ends up escalating the situation into some battle of fists or egos (not on your end so much, but on the club creep's end).

With my girlfriends and I (even with my guy friends) we generally just look after each other at the clubs & bars. We don't consider that a burden, but just something we do since we're friends. I still mainly handle my own conflicts unless I'm literally unable to (as in, if I'm impaired). I try not to be impaired enough that I literally can't.

To answer your question, I don't think it's misogynistic at all of you to want a more relaxed night out at the club with the guys sometimes, but I can guarantee there are usually ways to de-escalate situations like that. I've been in similar situations, but I can generally smooth talk my way out of them and I'm not a big or menacing looking person at all.
