So the search is just as hard for the girls as it is for the guys... I always kind of thought that because there's so many more men that women had such a great selection to choose from that it wasn't a problem for them, but now I see that that in of itself can be a problem. That's also a problem for the good men, because they're amongst all the really bad men and because of that are automatically assumed to be as bad as the majority. If that makes sense, it's a weird way to think about it.

I just made a female profile to see what the selection of men looked like. Woah. Maybe I should have kept on using the app...

I don't know. I stopped using dating apps several months ago due to little success. Figured I'd rather just do my own thing and work on myself, instead of expending so much energy trying to meet someone or to get laid. It really was exhausting. For every 100 women on the app, I'd only want to talk to maybe 5, and of those, none of them would respond. I shouldn't have to be some crazy buff guy or make six figures in order to justify a response, I should just have to be me. But that was never enough.
