Maryland Just Took a Huge Step for Protecting Voting Rights - It becomes 12th state to enact automatic voter registration

Not if they don’t have a Social security number. And I can tell you getting a license in Carroll county is dreadful. I took in seven pieces of mail and had 6 rejected. Went to my back got a letter from my bank saying I changed my address, they rejected that because it wasn’t an actual statement ( new statements were not released yet). Told me my Lowe’s bill wasn’t good enough because they need all pages of my bill, even though my address wasn’t on the other pages. That’s the only credit cards I have. Post office letter was okay but I need a second piece of mail and my w2s couldn’t be counted because they were using that for my SSN so they said it couldn’t be used for both. Not even my passport which was issued by Maryland counted. They told me I could bring my husband up to sign for me sense he was already a Maryland resident. At that point I told them how I felt about there power trip. Most all others in that line were turned away too. Don’t know about other counties but Carroll is hell to get a license in.
