" Mass Effect: Andromeda will be arriving in Spring 2017. Stand by for updates." Twitter official

Lol right, a company that exists to make profit owes its customers absolutely nothing.

There is something to be said for allowing space to make art. They should be given that. But not only did Bioware fumble things with ME3, they haven't released a Mass Effect game in 4 years. That's plenty of time to make an excellent game - which Bioware has done time and again, and can do again if they apply the same standards to their writing and game development as they normally do (standards, it should be noted, they likely abandoned towards the end of developing ME3).

But don't pretend Bioware doesn't owe "these people" anything. They owe their customers a quality product in as timely a manner as they can provide. It's no big deal to delay the release of a game to make sure it's high-quality - it's shitty for them to continually delay and release a shitty game, or not delay and release a shitty game. Either way, they'll lose business and people will go elsewhere for their entertainment if they have a shit game. If they don't, they'll probably be fine (in fact, they'll probably be fine if it is kind of shitty, because people love Bioware - myself included). And I think that's fair.
