Master of Magic meets Pokemon Go?

Thanks, I knew most of what they said in those videos years ago, but it is good to be validated. I hope no one calls me on it and makes me look up the post I made 5-7 years ago for a GPS pokemon clone that I abandoned because I didn't want to enter a legally grey zone. I figured that I'd let someone with pockets do the trailblazing legally. Imagine awful alternative reality where I make a GPS game and it becomes just good enough for people to get hurt on it sue me, and I have no money to defend myself in court, thus putting roadblocks up for future GPS games. I didn't want that to happen so I figured to let someone else do it first.

Now that it is legally in the clear to do what Pokemon Go does, how far can we go past it? I don't want to allow user made quests in parks in case bad guys want people to get hurt or set people up to be mugged as was my thoughts back in the day. But maybe a bit of pvp wouldn't be that horrible. I guess I just have to watch that I don't go too far into failed social experiment range.

If anyone wants to help me design maybe as a friend, PM me. I have a combat system, client and server working now. The GPS part is something I need to design from scratch, and will be an actual game in a few months. I can't promise the user base Pokemon Go has, but if you work with me, we'll have an actual product in a few months.
