McKinney officer resigns due to video of pulling gun on teens.

I haven't seen any posts that have said this. Imagine being 14 or 15 years old and told to leave the scene 3 or 4 times audibly loud enough on a camera phone from 15-20 feet away. Were you smart enough at that age to get the hell away or not? I know I was. The problem in this day and age is that people think they are above the law officers now. Not to mention the attitudes I see from teenagers. Why are they talking back to him he did not ask them questions, he told them to get away. My other problem with this is that there is a serious overreaction to the "SLAM" he put down on her. I've seen way worse on full grown men, he didn't ragdoll the shit out of her, or hit a WWE finisher on her. Then a mob gets way too close to him so he pulls his gun to get the teens away and simply puts it right back in the holster when the other cops get over there. He has already handcuffed two people so obviously he is out of cuffs for this girl, which is why his weight is on her back. I think if the teens had simply listened to the officer and not tried to run away to begin with, none of this would have happened.

Do I think what this cop did is right? Not really, I definitely think he could have handled it better, but I also think these teens need a lesson in common sense. The cop definitely did not need to be that aggressive to start and curse at these people like that.

Notice I did not bring race into this, but I ask all of you to imagine a scene of all white people there, and my best guess is the situation would have been more calm, which is sad to say. At the same time, I don't feel like these cops were targeting black people. They simply showed up to the scene of the crime and people were running from them as they got there so they grabbed who they could. Just my two cents.
