Me (24F) with BF (26M) of 4 years had a rough month & are trying again, but how can we get past this?

Thanks for the response! :) Yeah, I definitely feel like at the core of it, we have always genuinely cared and loved each other. Even while feeling out of love, we worried about hurting the other (but obviously should've trusted each other & talked it out). We were originally going to break up because we felt so bad about not feeling as strong & not wanting to give the other person a half ass relationship.

Then we've come to realize that it's natural for that passionate feeling to fade, but instead have a slow burning love. Feelings will change over time & couples will fall in and out of love right? But the ones that work out (provided there's no incompatibility issues) will stick around to fight for it & work it out. And that's what we're willing to do by communicating & trusting more. :)

Since the feelings will be different, how can you kinda know when we've fallen back in love? :O
