Me (24F) with BF (26M) of 4 years had a rough month & are trying again, but how can we get past this?

I actually quit my stressful job at the end and am now working at a more chill place with normal hours & I'm happier so that's made things better too. :) Finances are fine, we don't worry about money luckily as we both have good jobs & put away for savings in general, but also are spending more to go out and stuff now. :)

I used to always need big milestones to work towards (like save up for a car for the future), but now I've learned to relax more and just focus on the present (save in general and when/if we need a car, we can discuss it then). It's little changes in mindsets that are also helping to take some stress & expectations off as I'm a planner & he isn't.

As for planning, I'm used to planning so it's mostly me on that end but that's never bothered me. He shows his own effort by suggesting ideas more and I'll incorporate his thoughts more into the plan.

Thanks for the suggestions! I plan on a date night, a day out alone with friends, and a group event each week. :) It'll change each time and can be simple as just playing games together.
