[META] Here's the link in Manga Plus website to send feedback, because if we're supposed to read WSJ manga in this quality from now on, lets at least demand that they put more effort in than the bare minimal that we have been given(if even that).

Pretty good response, and thanks for what you said, I forgot about those you mentioned. Mangabox from DeNA is also another thing that I remembered.

Is scan hosting for them as widespread since there is not a language barrier as wide?

Oh, it is. Years ago when I still read comics from Marvel, there was torrents and sites everywhere even when you could find it.

But to specify a bit, my argument about marvel and dc was more that while they do have their services in digital, they also don't publish externally of their site, they only offer it on comixology or in services like Marvel Unlimited. But, all of those are just in english which is their language, not in languages from other countries. Western publishers will have this advantage where they won't have to pay any translator as english is the default language and they won't face much backlash if the comics in the country aren't translated to it. But japanese publishers will have to spend much more, not only to bring the licenses and resolve everything to be legal on here but contracting many and many translators, which with more and more manga added, they will have to contract more translators and all, which is why we never will get all the manga of japan or even from Shueisha, because that's not realistic like some think it is.
