Michael Bloomberg is spending big to flip the House

Thank you for spoonfeeding me your lack of factual evidence for your position. Also thank you for dodging the question about whether small donors bribed a politician who promised them a monetary benefit.

Here's the difference between (most) Republicans and Democrats: virtually every Democratic official and candidate has pushed for campaign finance reform. They have an existential incentive to do so. Any wealthy donor who gives to that party is knowingly supporting causes that will effectively dilute their power to financially support their political preferences. That's not an "excuse," it's a reality.

So until we can get a Democratic majority and ram through legislation that mitigates the effects of the CU decision, "billionaire spends to help Republicans maintain House majority" is not equivalent to "billionaire spends to help Democrats achieve House majority." Put down the Young Turks and Jacobin and the Intercept and join us here in the real world.
