i missed my flight home for christmas and now will spend christmas alone :(

I just had to drive 6 hours overnight and pay $2k to change flights all because I didn't apply for a passport for my son. Had it not been him also relying on me I would've just not gone on vacation, so it sucks and I owe my mom so much money for helping me. I'm sorry you're going through it, there's nothing much do to other than find your favorite snacks and alcohol (or bud depending on your persuasion) and get powerfully intoxicated and veg on the couch. I'm off to try to find something to feed my son while we're in Dublin, because I didn't plan on how we would eat on a Christmas either. I also feel like there should be an ADHD disability waiver where if we can prove we have it we can make flight changes without fees. Also don't listen to your family if they're being rude. Turn off your phone or whatever you have to do. You are valid even with your neuro-differences
