I can relate. I'm half Pacific Islander, and all other parts variations of Western European whiteness with some Mexican and some Japanese thrown in there. I took one of those home DNA tests for shits and giggles one day and it said like 6% African American as well but for the life of me I can't figure out where or how. Anyways, I'm also Jewish. I could pass for white if I wanted to, but generally fall on the spectrum of "what are you?". I just identify as a person of color, and if people ask me to specify how/why, I ask them to fuck off because anybody why does anyone feel entitled to that information? And in my experience people who have it only proceed to use it to make awkward racial comments, express fetishes, or act like the race police and tell me I'm not x,y,z enough. I feel like the mixed race experience is an individual one, and you're 100% free to identify however you do and explore your cultures as they make you happy.
