movies or series..?

I'll take movies any day. With series you get a rise and fall of quality as you oftentimes have different writers & directors on an episode by episode basis. With a movie it's one writer & director, the running time goes anywhere from 1hr 25mins to 3hrs, it doesn't drag on, it's short and concise and it says everything it wants to say without dragging on. You can watch movies in one sitting and they have more of an impact as a result, whereas series you have to watch sporadically if it's on air, or over the course of a week, which isn't quite impacting as it's like watching the first half of a movie one day and the second half of the movie another. Sure some movies will be better off as series and vice versa but it is movies for me. The movies you mention, The Godfather, Pulp Fiction and Scarface, are already long as it is, but they're both in a sweet spot, not too long, not too short. I feel like if they were made into a series instead, I'd quickly lose interest and they wouldn't be as liked as beforehand, when they were movies.
