MRW my coworker from Alabama says that everyone is going to want to leave my state of California soon because of the laws that our governor keeps passing. From ALABAMA.

Because California does not have a history of opposing Civil rights or internment camps.

Proving that Alabama illiteracy I see.

Didn't realize black voters were not Alabamians.

Despite being a huge portion of the Alabama population thst have almost no representation in government precisely because Alabamaians don't treat them like Alabamaians.

Yeah it was because of black voters, particularly black women, over 99% voted for Doug Jones. They are Alabamians just as much as the assholes who voted for the child rapist. Which means he was DEFEATED by Alabamians!

Narrowly seceded start being elected one times by....Alabamians.

Let the polls say whatever, we are not letting that creep represent us in the Senate.

Lol yes you will.

I don't see how this is different from what I said.

Trying to prove the text of America is bad doesn't make Alabama better. Sorry.

Are you seriously saying California did not have slaves?

Alabama reading comprehension at work.

You either did not get or voluntarily ignored what said here. It's not that someone made fun of the state. I wasn't even born in the US, let alone in Alabama. But Birmingham has been a heaven for me and family, totally opposite to what the current image of the state is in.

White male privlige is a hell of a druf.

We voted and changed the Senate representative from the favorite to win to a fucking Democrat. If that's not doing something about fixing it, then I don't know what is.

One good sebate election in 50 yeats isn't fixing anything, especially since he'll likely lose that seat in 2020.

Look, all I'm saying is, there are assholes everywhere and they make the most noise. Before blindly shitting on a state because the internet says so, why don't you do a bit of research?

I can flood this comment section with stats on Alabama's infant mortality rate, your abortion laws, teen pregnancy rates, education rankings, and a host of other facts; what are you by to do to counter it besides talk about how everywhere else is bad? I know more about your state than you.

Like I said in the previous comment, why don't you check out how the different counties in Alabama voted, particularly the high population ones and how many Confederate memorials are in Birmingham?

How's this for a memorial?

All cities are more liberal than the rural areas; Alabama's is still a racist shithole. Black people have barely any representives precisely because of voter suppression and gerrymandering there.
