MWR hurting competitive Cod in the long run?

the game is trash. when will people realise that if the core game (maps, movement, guns) is dogpoop there is no amount of banning, "balancing" or nerfing that can fix things. this has been the case for the last 3 years, the core game they are giving us is awful (and a lot of it is to do with the futuristic movement which affects maps as well as the movement - the guns this year seem like normal cod guns and are fine).

Pros and the entire cod community playing MWR will be good for COD in the long run. Sometimes you need to go through bad periods to get things better and the only way cod and comp will survive in the long run is if this futuristic shit burns to the ground. If all the pros say they arent competiting and just play MWR for a year then Activision will be fucked and then they will finally change. COD Comp has been on a steady decline because the games are garbage and that effects other things; its not fun to watch, pros are retiring now and one of the biggest reasons we are "dying" is because optic/nadeshot dont promote the scene (they would if they had any vested interest in it but the games suck so nade doesnt compete or stay tuned in he even said this the other day with aches on stream). This year is great because we dont have to play the main game. video games are meant to be fun thats why everyone plays comp first and foremost because they like cod but want to play it competitively (they hate public matches - aches's words from 3 years ago). if its not fun whats the point. Ive been following comp since mw2 and i forced myself to watch in AW but im not doing it anymore (thats just my opinion though)
