Write letters to your daughter but don’t send them. When she’s 18/ done with high school, Reach out, and offer to talk with her. You should wait until after high school so that you cause chaos in her life at a very vulnerable time. By taking the time to write down everything, it will give you a chance to refine everything and make sure that your message is clear and concise. It might be even nice, to one day tell her you wanted to reach out for so long but wanted make sure you wouldn’t be a bad influence. Here a letters I wanted to send you for all these year. Society, doesn’t start trusting convicts until you’re 10+ years removed from your being incarcerated. It sucks, but recidivism rates are high… especially in the first 5 years.
