Hmm. Okay. Wasn’t necessary to share this at first but I thought this would shed more light. I would contend with “shitty” makeup job.

On Halloween, I went as a barefaced Dante. To me, it looked so bad that I didn’t dare to post pictures of it myself anywhere. Unfortunately, others took photos and uploaded to Facebook groups to mock me. Comments were incredibly toxic with lots of meme photos. I almost crashed and wanted to give up cosplay permanently.

So instead of just staying down, I picked myself up, dusted myself off and went to get a new wig and found a makeup artist, trusting her recommendations.

You know what? The feedback has been mostly positive. You deserve your opinion 100%, but overall from my point of view, you’re in the minority.

This is me fixing a bad situation. The feedback on Facebook for the second cosplay was so good that it gave me the courage to post it on Reddit. As you can see, there are some who like it. This, to me, is a million times better than being memed and shamed online.

So let’s agree to disagree =)
