I was in an 11 year relationship so I do not think I am very good at flirting. I’ve had guys tell me that they were waiting for me to initiate which is not some thing I am interested in doing. They keep asking me out so I don’t necessarily think I’m doing anything wrong but to me it feels awkward because I like a more assertive guy.

Of the four exclusive relationships I’ve been in one of the guys was not a good match, faded off and ghosted me, two of the guys were recently divorced and decided they weee not ready, and this last guy would yell at me when he got mad so I ended it. I’m getting better at picking matches but I do think part of it is that I am attracted to the wrong type of guy.

I agree with the conversation flow and intellectual connection as being part of chemistry but I also need a sexual connection. I do think that the way you kiss and the way you have sex really do matter, like sometimes there’s just this magical energy and that’s what I crave. I was in a dead bedroom marriage so for me this is very very important, it’s a dealbreaker.
