Back to OLD after a few weeks break. One match on Tinder is starting to emerge from the pack, we’re now chit-chatting on WhatsApp, it’s easy and breezy and we’ll have a date soon, but I’m taking lessons from my last OLD experience.

One thing I’ve reflected on is how I could have a slightly ‘lazy’ approach to dating in that I tell myself ‘I don’t want to multidate as I want to focus on one person’. That’s what I did in my last dating experience, and in hindsight it wasn’t necessarily that he was worthy of solo focus, but more that I couldn’t be arsed/didn’t have the energy to get to know 2 or more people at once.

My energy and time is still limited, but this round my aim is to slow the pace right down, continue to get to know others and not stop on the first person that shows some promise.
