Nail salon worker tests positive for coronavirus days after Oklahoma shop reopens

Genuinely curious. What is the alternative you are suggesting? How do we be any safer than we already are in opening the economy. You realize the doors didnt just randomly open and everyone and their dogs can walk in and get a mani/pedi.

The nail salon mentioned was doing work by appointment only, every other booth is open meaning only half the amount of work can be done at any given time, clients have to wait in their cars until receiving a phone call allowing them to enter the building, the worker has to wear a mask, proper sanitation is required to take place in between clients. I know this because I live in Bartlesville and my wife is very close with someone who works at the salon mentioned in this post.

I also have received a haircut recently from a completely separate salon, and they practiced the exact same guidelines.

If you ask me that is a smart way of atleast attempting to put Americans back at work while trying hard to keep those at risk safe. If you are at risk, you stay home and be cautious of all interactiins with others. If you are healthy, be safe and practice caution. But to say the floodgates are opening is just absolutely wrong.
