Naming is hard

It's more stupid to believe this conspiracy perpetrated by corporations than anything else.

McDonald's was warned multiple times that their coffee was served at a dangerous temperature, 180 to 190 F (82 to 88 C) but they continued to serve it as it was because they thought customers wanted coffee that was still hot a few miles down the road and McDonald's served it in flimsy containers to save money, so when a 79-year-old woman was handed the cup through a drive-thru, parked to put cream and sugar in it with it between her lap, and the lid came off, she had serious burns in her lap.

At first, she only wanted compensation for her medical bills, but when McDonald's refused, her lawyers went the pain & suffering route in their lawsuit and they won.

Then McDonald's and a bunch of other corporations started pushing the idea that America was full of frivolous lawsuits, that people were stupid or malicious, but it was the corporations that were constantly losing these because their actions were negligent in an attempt to save a buck.

We don't need a warning label to tell us things are hot. Corporations need a warning to tell us things are hot so they're not liable.
