[NBCNews] U.S. Muslims more accepting of homosexuality than white evangelicals

What defines "Muslims and their culture"?

If we look at the beginning of Islam, during the reign of Mohammad, then clearly we can't accept such culture that allows rape, slavery, pedophilia and burning gay people alive.

Do we look at the current time? 9 out of the 10 countries where homosexuality is punishable by death are Muslim countries. Concentration camps were set up for gay people in Chechnya, ISIS is following original Islam and throwing gay people off buildings. In more "moderate" countries, gay people only get jailed or beaten up by the locals. Child marriages are common, forced marriage is common, child mutilation is extremely widespread, misogyny, honor killings, legalised rape, lashings, stonings, and the list goes on.

Even in the UK, Muslims made their own communities, where they don't have to interact with any westerns or adopt western values, it is no surprise that the majority of Muslims in the UK want homosexuality punishable by law, an alarming amount of them support ISIS and want sharia law to rule over the UK.

The truth is that Muslims and their culture suck, liberal and "cool" Muslims are a rare minority, there needs to be a stronger effort to fight radicalism and push for progress, because currently there doesn't seem to be that much of a unified movement to take the religion to the next level.
