NBN CEO confirms NBN cost blowout was caused by FTTN not FTTP

they can't resist a story about a "death cult" or "union leaders with their snouts in the trough", or a headline from uncle Ruppert.

But you can see right through their evil lies, oh so clever. No mate, most people are as as switched on as you or even more so when it comes to politics, (I'd put a lot in the last category given how simplistic and hostile your views are towards people who don't agree with you) and regardless of how bright you think you are, everyone who can vote can read a newspaper article and understand how it will affect them. Most (and I mean the absolute majority) are educated to a good standard. You aren't special or smarter than everyone else and your view isn't 100% right for everyone. That's why there's a VOTE. If there was an objective basis for determining every issue there wouldn't be a vote. Sorry to tell you but you have a naive, teenager's attitude to democracy and I would put money on you being quite new to politics based on your conduct in this thread.

Wasting millions of taxpayer money which could be better spent on research, humanitarian initiatives that work, transport, job creation, is an incidental issue to you? Thanks for proving my point. Come back in 20 years once you've had a chance to watch a few more governments and global enterprises sink their hooks into this country.

Lol that's a fantastic example of the ignorance and lack of self awareness I'm referring to. You immediately reject a view which doesn't align with yours as wrong or stupid. I know what effect the NBN has on me and the public, both short term and long term, and I still don't agree that it is the prime issue that should be deciding my vote. If you disagree then that's fine, but issues like this are inherently subjective and if you don't understand that then that's a problem with your simplistic view on democracy.
