We need MORE money in politics. *Much* more.

It's a decent idea, but it runs in to problems with implementation. For example, because of our campaign finance laws a non-party PAC can only contribute $5,000 to a candidate. That's not enough by itself to get someone's campaign started, especially if they know that's the maximum they can possibly get from that source. By funneling our contributions through a PAC we're actually limiting how much we can give to a single candidate.

For comparison, let's say there was a list of 10 candidates (something like this) then I could contribute $10/month, and they'd each get $1. If 10,000 people did the same thing, they'd each get $10,000/month. That's enough to get a campaign started, and it's still way under the contribution limits for individuals, while being way over the amount a PAC could contribute to the same 10 candidates. To contribute the same amount of money Wolf Pac (or any other PAC) would have to find 240 candidates to give the money to.

Perversely our current campaign finance laws make it more difficult to use PACs to raise money by small dollars fundraising. They're really designed to take a few huge contributions and spread it out, not the other way around.

Also, for wolf pac to succeed it would probably help to first get a bunch of good candidates elected at the state level. Those candidates need contributions to be able to run their campaigns. Let's just skip the extra step and fund good candidates directly.
