Yeah you won't get anywhere dating slowly in NYC. People who are serious about dating are meeting people multiple times a week and only want to continue seeing the ones who will make time for them and be proactive about scheduling. I remember when I was on OkC I had a fun message rapport with someone and we went back and forth for a week over text. I figured they weren't really interested since they didn't try to meet up, so I scheduled time with the ones who did ask me out despite not having much "online" chemistry. The original dude finally asked me to meet after that week of talking and my schedule was full and they were frustrated, but like....they waited too long.
