It's funny how we group personality things into "quirks" vs. "disorders." I have no doubt that Nicole suffers from sort of insecurity...thing. What exactly does she have to be so insecure about? She won $500k, she's a B-list reality TV celebrity, she doesn't need to work a real job, she's engaged to a guy who seems nice...the vast majority of people would swap spots with her. Yet she's crushingly insecure.

She's not insecure to the point that it keeps her from doing day to day activities, so we don't categorize it like something that should be fixed. "Oh she's just catty..." Yeah, and depressed people are "just sad."

I think she would greatly benefit from speaking to a therapist about it, if she isn't already. I worry for her. If this is how she feels now, imagine when she stops getting invited to reality shows and her money starts running out.
